I am Mun Young-Hoon, the Chief Educational Officer of the National Civil Defense and Disaster Management Training Institute.

Welcome to the website of the National Civil Defense and Disaster Management Training Institute.

Since its establishment as the Central Civil Defense Academy in 1987, NDTI has been committed to providing the highest quality education and training in disaster safety, civil defense, and emergency preparedness in Korea.

NDTI has been playing a crucial role in safeguarding citizens' lives and property against disasters, safety accidents and security threats by providing specialized education and training, including realistic simulated experiences, to public officials, private professionals, and foreign government officials from disaster-prone countries.

The NDTI will strive to cultivate key personnel in the field of disaster safety and civil defense by going through a continuous
transformation and innovation.

    Renamed the agency to the Central Civil Defense Disaster Prevention Training Institute of the National Emergency Management Agency, and transferred to the Ministry of Public Administrationand Security of the Disaster Prevention Research Lab
